Has it really been almost 4 years since I was active on this site? A lot has happened since then.. which I may indulge in the coming months. What I would like to say is I am getting a massive itch.. well really I have had the itch for awhile, but I want to get back into Photography. I am looking back at my gallery the last few months and have been absorbing a lot of video content on the web as well and want to get back into both. As some of you may know, just before my absence I was starting to get into video with the Calgary DA Meet commercials and such. My current plan is to save up for a Canon 5D Mark II with a really decent lens. Currently I am eyeing up the 24mm 1.4 (or is it 1.2? I am pretty sure its the 1.4) which I *think* will be a good prime lens for both photography and video. I could be wrong, but I am sold on getting that as my first lens as I am sure it will be awesome regardless and I may just have to use it for certain applications.
I am not sure who all still follows me, or for that matter still uses DA, but if you are one of them please leave a comment, even if just to say 'Hi'.

Been awhile..

So I've sold my camera. The only piece of photography equipment I have now is my tripod and a Casio Exilum. I don't think I will be doing photography for a very long time, so if any of my watchers were looking forward to seeing more from me, I apologize.
I have a video project that's been on the back burner for awhile that I hope to start production of in the next 6-12 months. Something to look forward to if you are interested in videos.
Lastly, I am working on another CalgaryMeet event.. it's been much too long since the last one.

I am giving up my Olympus Evolt e-500 dSLR camera, and giving all you lovely people who watch me first dibs on purchasing it before I move to usedcalgary/ebay/etc.
Camera is a little over 2 years old now, and comes with two kit lenses:
Olympus/Zuiko Digital 14-45mm Portrait Zoom lens
Olympus/Zuiko Digital 40-150mm Telephoto Zoom lens
I still have the boxes/warranty cards/etc.
